aod?

on an AOD tranny does it have a vacume mod or line going to it? or is it just the tv cable? i am having acceleration issues and wana rule out my tranny

From what I can recall the AOD only has the tv cable. Take a look under there and see if you can see a vacuum line. You may even be able to tell if there is a vacuum line going to the trans by checking for lines going to the trans along the firewall.

AOD has no vacuum lines or modulators like the c6 does. Depending on wether the motor's carbeureted (has TV rod) or EFI (has TV cable). It hooks up to the throttle linkage. Ya can adjust it by loosening up the linkage at the tranny (seperate linkage than the shifter linkage, but at the same place) and either moving the linkage down or up. I reckon if you move the linkage up it makes the shift come sooner and if you move it down it makes the shift come later. The TV rod has a set screw on the carbeuretor linkage that controls kickdown. Youll just have to play with it a little to figure out your problem, but dont move the linkage too much or it might mess up the tranny.
