I too am interested in any responses to this subject, as I am considering a 6" Skyjacker lift as well. I am going with the full spring system with dual front shocks. The shocks will probably be Rancho. What else will be necessary that does not come with the system? Many thanks.
Skyjacker is a good choice, I personaly don't run one but I have in the past. Well designed and well made. I would say they are one of the top manufactures of "kits" on the market.
There are other choices, like the post refers to above, also there are super lift, I beleive BDS makes a kit and a few more.
Kits seem to be a personal thing, some like only what they run, so read back in this forum and also the suspension forum to get an idea of what folks think.
There are many more choices out now compared to when I lifted mine.
Just make sure you don't go cheap on the shocks, steering and wheels.
Mine is over 3 years and still no sag as many have commented on, no thumps or bumps and no wear issues. Very happy with it.
They ought to come like this out of the factory.

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 23-Sep-02 AT 11:14 AM (EST)]I have the 6" skyjacker on my truck I just had the front springs replaced yesterday because the front sagged too much besides that I love the lift I am in the process of adding the 3.5" hanger kit! soon which will put it up to 10" front 11.5" rear! if I was you I would go with a 8" I wish I would have! and you will have to add a 1.5" block in the rear to level the rear end out! check out my gallery to see it!
I run a 6 inch skyjacker kit on my 97 F350 CC 4x4. I have the kit with both front and rear springs. I also run skyjacker shocks. The ride is good. My kit came with the springs, shocks and a dropped steering arm. I am thinking of swapping to a 8 inch dropped steering arm since I get some bump steer. Also you will need to drop your driveshaft carrier bearing a 1 inch or a 1 1/2 inches. That will stop driveshaft shaking when you pull out. It will drive alittle different. It still drives good and I love the height. I had to put step tubes on for my wife. Now she want to drive it all the time
