4.6 timing chain setup.

4.6 timing chain setup.
When installing timing chains on a 4.6 sohc, Do you install both chains at the same time or do you start a separate setup for each cam? This is my frist time doing this type of motor. i'm having trouble lineing them up. every time i put the chains on together left side is hitting the pistons while i turn with a breaker bar and socket
