Advice on wax choice
I just hesitate to grab the first "on sale" container of "clearcoat safe" wax at Wally World without council.
A lot of you folks out there have experience in fleet maintaince or preping for shows and probably have an opinion.
Thanks in advance.

I prefer to stick with Macguire's products. I live in the mid atlantic and see both types of weather. I've found that their whole line of products work on everything from the land of salt to the bay of salt. (Snow to marine) They just seem to be the best out there.

Thank all of you for the advice. I will go with Macguires.

I hear you on the size. I am 6ft 3in and can't reach the middle of the hood without a ladder.

Wax isn't really my bag, but I can appreciate a good brazillian.
Did I just say that. :-staun
Waxy comes from the name of the landscape company I used to work for. If there's anyone here from Regina or Moose Jaw, yes Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, they'll know the company, and probably me.

Ford Trucks for Ford Truck Enthusiasts
Sask has everything, from flat plains, to beautiful sandhills crawling with critters (home to the world record white tail deer), to badlands, to parklands, to the shield up north that has forests and lakes (fishing!) to make MN jealous.
If you like the outdoors, you like Sask.
Buffalo does have the Bills though.

Monsta, have you ever heard of a "clay bar"?
I got one from a body shop, and you rub it all over the serfice
of the truck, and it makes it like silk, then you put the wax on.
Same for me - go w/ Meguiars. Zymol does great as
well, but it costs way too much and has a short
life till u have to reapply it again b/c it is
so soft (pure carnuba). Best only for show cars and the like.
Good luck getting up to do the roof! :7

How do you do your roof????
:-X23
>:-X23
Since I have a hard bed cover, I have to wrangle
around on a 4 foot step ladder (I am 6'3", and not
dainty, as they say
) on the sides to getto the top. I cannot stand in the bed like most others
could. My bad, I guess, for having that darn cover! LOL
Plus, I live/park under a lot of live oak trees,
which make a bloody mess up there on the roof. I am
constantly cleaning that top off, esp. around the roof
clearance lights and water channels.
Ugh....
