sway bars?

I have sway bars front and rear on my f150. Its lifted 9 inches and will soon have a solid dana 44 in the front. I dont know if I want to have sway bars and make disconects or just get rid of them completely. It will be kindof a pain mounting them onto the solid front axle. Is a sway bar not being there going to ruin my turning capability on road. Keep in mind i have a locker so I dont go fast around turns anyhow.

Naaa, you'll be fine. Just take it easy till you get the feel of it. My best friend got disconnects and then just never bothered reconnecting them. The first time I took it around a corner it kinda took me by surprise, but you get used to it. If it feels too unsafe you can always hook 'em back up.

that's the first thing i do when i get a new truck...at least the rear. it is amazing how much articulation you get when removed. I would try it...not like you can't put them back on or get disconnects for them!

Sway bar schway bar. We don nee no steekin sway bars!!!

I know this example is 9"s vs 6"s BUT...... After I lifted my truck (which never had sway bars) it handled better than stock. The suspension did anyways. The tires roll over but the body stays flat.

Most over the counter lift springs for FS rigs are stiff enough not to need swaybars. From what I've seen anyways. FWIW.......

You'll just experience more body roll in turns. Please keep the front bar connected when on road....quick stops and swirving out of the way of someone or something makes for a scary ride when disconnected.
