dont really like that hot, spicey stuff .i have a son who would drink it from the bottle if you let him. i get heartburn just watching him eat sometimes.
I like the Habanero Tabasco, has a yummy taste. the regular and green are good for certain things. Haven't tried smoke and they have GARLIC??!!, gotta get me some.
I like a lot of the Habanero sauces floating around, has good flavor and heat.
Only on rare occasion will I use regular Tabasco on anything, but I do like it on fried eggs sometimes. I had a room mate a number of years back and she loved Mexican food. She took me to a Mexican restaurant and ordered me a meal that she likes, since I didn't have the foggiest of what anything was. I took one bite out of it and my whole meal was ruined. I may as well have been eating lava. Not sure what the hot sauce was but it sure ruined me for Mexican foods. Now I specify I want it edible and not something you need a firetruck for.
I don't like it but you military guys out there...remember the cool little bottle Tabasco in your MRE's? Still fascinates me as to why it wasn't just in a package light ketchup
I love all kinds of hot sauces. The various types of Tabasco all have their place.
I grew two bushes of habanero peppers and had a bumper crop. It turns out that 2 peppers would have done me for the year much less than 2 bushes. However, when the things are ground up and mixed with oil the are a great dog and cat repellant when applied outdoors.
I prefer to put real peppers or chiles on my food the tabasco has too much a viniger taste for my liking. But if I had to choose a sauce it would be Frank's Red Hot I think it is much better than tabasco.
