Let's just say that I don't deliver pizza anymore for a reason... no more weapons in the truck either.

There wouldn't be any road rage if people would pull there heads out of their *** and pay attention to what they're doing. Most never think that driving puts more other people's lives in danger than any other activity we do. Unless you build nuclear warheads in your garage.

Riding with my dad when I was about 12 and a car came up behind us with his hibeams on, and just sat about 12 feet from the rear bumper. Dad kept slowing down to get the car to go around him and flipping his lights on and off hoping the idiot would get the picture. Guy just slowed down with him and never would go around. Oncoming traffic would occasionally flash brights at the guy as he was also blinding them. Came to a STOP sign in the middle of nowhere (16 & 62) and dad got out - tire iron in hand and poked out all four of his headlights "Let's see you blind me now you SOB!" Then got back in the car and left the guy sitting there, in the dark with no working head lights.

Dangerous and dumb but effective.

Almost did the same thing once on the open highway. Car came up FAST behind me with brights on and sat about 20' off my back bumper. Slowed down to about 45 to get him around me and just wouldn't go by. Slowed to 20 and he still wouldn't pass, then I finally pulled over and stopped. Thats when I realized it was a cop. He pulled over and stopped too, so I started to take off again. He put on his rollers so I pulled over again. Walks up to my door and asks why I pulled over, I told him because I was blinded by his brights and couldn't see driving through deer country. I asked him why he wouldn't pass when he had so many oppurtunities and why he was following cars with hibeams on. He said he was following the 2 second rule and was checking out my truck as one similar had just been involved in a crime (BS CYA line). I asked him why with no traffic for a mile a ahead or behind he has to drive 2 seconds or less off my back bumper. No answer, just sorry to bother you line. He then went back to his car and and waited for me to leave. I sat in my truck waiting for him to leave. After about 3 minutes he cames back to my truck and asks why I'm not moving and I reply I'm still waiting for him to go around as I didn't want to be tailgated again. He makes a U turn and fries his tires going the other direction.

speaking of not caring I had a kid in an acura pull up behind me at a stop light and roll into my truck! WTF(no damage whats so ever to my truck cause I had a draw bar in my hitch) I say, so then logically most people would back up or something, no nothing, I put my truck in reverse and start to back up and the dumb#@$ still sits there after I get against him again! After that he stayed back aways. A couple days later I'm leaving my college again and I'm at another light only this time I'm facing up hill instead of down. The kid pulls up behind me and is inches from my bumper, if I had the draw bar in my hitch again he would of hit it! some people are so stupid!

Another tailgate incident, I'm cruising thru town, crowded street and this other guy is on my butt, so I slow down a little and dont ya know it someone walks out in front of me, when I hit the brakes dont ya know it the guy got po'ed and blew his horn and continued to tailgate!! NO CLUE is all I have to say!

Just the other day while driving my '55 COE the two lane blvd merged into one. I was ahead of this guy and before my lane ended, I started to move over. The guy started honking his horn but I didn't stop moving over. Looking at the rear view mirrow, he was cussing and flashing me his finger. Up further, the road goes back to a two lane and a traffic signal. I go to the right lane and he pulls up besides me on the left lane. He was obviously showing signs of road rage. He's so pissed cussing and gestering with his hands and fingers...at this point I'm getting pissed being that I was in the right by merging over in front of him. But rather than gester back at him, I blew him a kiss. He really went postal. The light turned green and peels out like a bat out of hell.
I think it pissed him off more when I blew him a kiss rather than stoop to his level.

Kinda embarrassed but I was driving about five years ago and a lady stopped short at a GREEN light. I tapped the horn as I had my wife and another couple in the back seat. She sat there. I laid on the horn. I saw her reverse lights flashed (indicating she put the car in park). So then i was assuming she was having car trouble. Then she flipped me the bird out of the driver side window. I flung off my seat belt and hopped out of the car yelling all the way to her car. She says, "You're not the boss of me" I said to her "In THIS country we GO on green lights. Move it or I'll move it for you" She said something to me in a languade I didn't understand so I politely attempted to assist her from her vehicle thru the open window. She quickly put it into drive gear and pulled off. I DID manage to get a good landing of a kick to the quarter panel as she pulled off.

Yeah, I know anger management would be a good one for me.

...I dont waste my energy on road rage...Heck most of the time it just some evil deed done by an overactive imagination or percieved insult anyway...face it most people are to uptight and just use it as an excuse to blow off steam...Who in their right mind consciously tries to cause an accident...
....I just give em space and let them kill somebody else, getting mad aint gonna change them or their driving habits....

Watched the movie "Changing Lanes" a while ago. Maybe it wasn't the right thing to do but pulling the lug nuts off that guy's car was a riot.

I lose my mind when people ride my bumper but I've yet to really go off on someone. I usually give them the old brake tap and leave it at that. If you take a split second to think about the concequences of doing something to another driver it gives you enough time to cool off. Still, Mr. Glock is always good insurance for real wackos!

A bag of BB's kept in the console is great for tailgaters. When they get to close grab a handful of BB's. Wait until there isnt a car coming, then chunk them out the window. If u do it up and over the cab then it will pelt thier windshield. It gets them off of your rear in a hurry

I guess I've been on both ends of the road rage spectrum. Just yesterday in town in my '91 F250 4x4 I was driving around the town square inside lane, came to a corner to get to the outside lane, and was waiting for a kid in a "Mommy's car" Buick. He sees me, slows down like he's going to let me go, then decided to take off when I was about halfway out, and was'nt gonna let me get around him. Well, he chickened out at the last sec and stopped, but by then I had stopped, too, and he saw he could get around. So he takes off, but I pulled forward and blocked him. He looks at me in my farmer get up and mouths "Effing redneck!"

At this point, he has nowhere to go, so I got out, calmly walked up to his door and invited him to get out and discuss the sitch. He starts screaming "I'm only 17! Leave me alone!" I decided to think better of my original plan (kicking the living daylights outta the punk), since we were in the middle of town, with plenty of witnesses. So I leave, get in my truck, and back up. He takes off, and I pretty much dismiss the incident. But, after about half an hour, when I came out from the hardware store, I saw him circling the square again. He sees me, stops in the middle of the street, gets out (keeping the car between me and him), and shows me a ball bat, telling me that he's going to do to me what I'd planned on doing to him "if you ever eff with me again, redneck!"

"Whatever, punk, no problems here. I have your license plate, so let's just let the cops settle it from here, okay?"

I bet Mommy had to put new front tires on her Buick, as hard as he burned them off getting the heck outta there.

This is clever thinking! What would be great is to cut a little hole in my shifter boot and stick a hose through there with a funnel on top. I could let those bb's fly and they'd never have a clue where it's coming from . . . not that I would ever do anything like that.

My buddy had a bit of rage last year, he was in his beat up Astro van at a busy intersection waiting for the light to turn green when a young punk and a girl pull up next to him in daddy's suv. The girl rolls down her window and spits on my buddy's van. (classy) That pissed off my buddy so much once the light turned green he drove right into the suv and wrecked the passenger fender/bumper, flattened their tire and crushed the rim. No damage to the Astro. Turns out the kid driving didn't have a license and the suv was daddy's. Called it even.

a good fix for tailgaters, get a bottle of liquid wax,a old windsheild wiper fuild reseavor with pump, mount in truck bed, run hose under bumper, wire switch in cab. no more tail gator! also running the edge of the road tends to back tailgators off,
