i just want know at what age you think a bluehair should give up their drivers license?when is it time to become a passenger? i have a 94 yr old that lives on our street and he scares me every time he pulls out of his driveway,

I think that at the age of 60 you should have to go in and recertify annually. To avoid the inconvenience of the DMV they should have an express lane JUST for this. If you don't qualify...take the bus home!
i think they should be allowed to drive as long as they can see. Hopefully they drive slow enough that nobody ever gets hurt to serious. I don't want to sound like a punk but the last thing i want after being around forever is for someone to tell me i can't drive. This america.

I couldn't agree more. Butif it came down to it, I'd go for testing rather than some official just saying--yer 75, bye bye drivers license.
If older people can't drive safely, let law enforcement do its job by ticketing them. I've seen just as many kids with no business behind the wheel, and a heck of a lot more dangerous!

Yeah, am with you man, those guys with the blue and orange spiked hair with nails and rings thru their face ,scare the hell out of me too.
most older drivers see an automobile as their personal independance.unfortunately some are stuborn beyond reason.but i understand their reasoning.after driving all their lives ,then suddenly they have to rely on other people for a ride to get a prescription or grocerys that kind of thing, they have a hard time accepting it.i'm for more testing, more frequently, for both written and driving also.i'v found i'm a little more tolarant these days but there is a limit

Very true some young idiot driver kids or worse the most all old drivers. Most young people drive like a bat out of hell with no regard to anyone.
