94 explorer ABS
I have a 1994 explorer with auto-hubs. Last week, my right front wheel bearing seized up, ruined the rotor, spindle and some hub hardware. I got everything replaced and went for a test drive. The ABS light was on. I found that the sensor had been chewed up, so I installed a new one which corrected the light problem, but now it activates (the ABS) at low stopping speeds on dry pavement. The system appears to work fine except for this one condition, quick stops don't activate it, just slow, easy stops, right about 3-7 mph. I have already read some nasty reports about this problem, but no fixes. Does anyone have a firm answer to this problem yet? Has Ford issued something I don't know about?
