I know these are probably pretty spendy, but after watching the videos on the websites, I am really turned on and wish I could afford a set to use when playing. Go check out the product and the videos. Ya gotta love it! Check out ALL the videos for all the products, including the ATVs. You'll be amazed at what these tracks will do. www.mattracks.com or www.litefootatv.com

The weight wouldn't bother me in the slightest. And the gear reduction would make up for the weight. All the vehicles, including the ATVs didn't seem to have any problems, whatsoever. I think it's time to start saving some dough... I found next years Christmas present for me.
When I was at silver lakes sand dunes in michigan riding four wheelers about 2 years ago there was an all done up late model suburban with a set they seemed to work pretty well untill he blew a track off halfway up a dune.
That's very interesting about blowing track off. I wonder how old they were, if he had used them on pavement and hard surfaces a lot. The rubber track will wear out, same as a tire if used too much on hard terrain, according to the website. Too bad someone here doesn't have some experience with these and can further comment.

A snomobile club I was with used those to convert a truck in to a groomer. OK it was only... a geo tracker The videos are sweet - I like the snow applications the best.
So is calling a wrecker to pull you out. But the whole idea of my post is that these tracks look like a lot of fun and the ride even over the logs didn't look half bad as it would be in a wheeled truck. And the rock climb.... man... tires would have beaten you to death unless crawling in super low range.
Thats why I said I'd have to start saving today and make it next years Christmas present to myself. Besides.. some of the other mods I've seen people do are just as pricey if not more so.
Originally posted by 99xlt4.04x4 I looked them up on ebay.... used set runs about $7k. New is like $21k. I sure would like to have em, but they cost more than my truck.
Faints. ( so much for christmas present next year.)
