steering clearance

I am looking into doing a 3in. drop on front and a 4in drop on the rear of my 66 f100. I will be installing dream beams in front and hanger/shackles in rear. Is this the correct way of going at this, or would 2in drop springs and 4in drop leafs in rear be the way to go. Also are there any concerns of steering such as tires rubbing on fenders. Thank you for your time.

Wink Longer Shackles raise Ford Trucks Up!

Consider this....

If your 66 is stock, your rear springs now sit on top of your axle housing. Adding longer shackles will therefore raise rear of your Slick, rather than lower it.

For the best slam, add spring pearches to the bottom of your axle housing[easiest way] ,{ or get an axle housing from a Ford Passenger car all your internal stuff fits into hard way} and set your axle on top of springs which will lower your 66 about 3-4 in.
Just flip the U Bolts & spring plates & use shorter shocks.

The steering question is not something I can help you with, but I bet the manufacturer of the dropped I Beams can tell you that.
