PCM reprogram

While I was at the dealership getting the computer set for the largest tire it could, I complained about the long shifts. The tech took a look and told me my settings was for the softest shifts. He changed it so it shifts much faster. That seemed good. Until reading about this kind of stuff on this site.

If I've gather things right, the engine was detuned for the quicker shifts. It did seem slower after the reprogram.

So, okay the best fix is the modified valve & spring through diablo or other sources.

The question is now I assume I need to reprogram again. Should I go back to original? Will there be something in between?

I have the Supertuner Reprogrammer on my christmas list. If I don't get it, I'll buy it in January.

If I were you I'd go back the original program and install the Diablo shift valve. It'll work with any of the factory programs so you might as well not drive with the sluggish program.
