Chrome door handles
I'm looking into replacing the stock door handles of my 04 Expy for some chrome handles like the Navigator. Anyone know where to find OEM chrome handles, or someone that sells it. I haven't been upclose on a Navi's door handles, but I think those will work for an 03/04 Expy.
Also the side mirrors I would like to have them painted the same color as the body. Again like the Navi, Has anyone done this or know someone that has.
A Navi is just a wee bit out of my price range
Any pictures of any of these mods would be great. Also what do you think about these ideas? Although minor I think these little details would have it looking good, other than RIMS etc... that's later down the road.

The side mirrors can be painted. DO you want the entire thing painted or just the front part? You can remove the front part somewhat easily and take it somewhere to get painted. That is my plan. There are instruction posted at another site. I'll copy them here.
Removing the whole thing to get it painted would mean too much downtime for the family truckster...

I just found out about the door handles
I priced them from a Lincoln dealer, they are roughly $91.00 bucks each for the front and $87.00 each for the back. That's for the whole unit, they just don't sell the "pull handle" seperately . What a rip off!!! And $91.00 dollars for the front, I can understand for the drivers side because of the key, but the other three are exactly the same. So about $356.00 for parts, and whatever for labor.
As for the mirror, your're correct I just want to do the front part of the mirror. Just like the Navi. I priced that at a body shop my dealer uses. I was quoted for 133.00 for the total cost for labor and paint. Not bad, I know I can save on labor by popping them out myself. But I'll let them do it, so if it breaks they can pay the ridiculous charge for that part Ford would ask for.
Can anyone get the parts for the door handles any cheaper? I just want the "pull handle" I saw sonewhere on televison where if you tried to build a car by purchasing the parts seperately from the parts department it would cost us 3x-4x times more than off the lot. I believe it.
