tires

i just bought a 1990 f150 4x4. it does not a lift kit of any kind on it right now. my question is if any body has tried to put 33x12.5 tires on this truck or one similar before. it as 32x12.5 on it now and they work fine. a friend of mine has got a set of 33x12.5 that he is going to sell me at a good price, and since my truck is going to need tires soon i am considering it. any help would be apperciated thanks.
