How can I Tell.......

How can I tell by looking if I have a posi rear? Is there a label or code that indictes? Thanks - PS - my first visit - way cool site - Clamb

Welcome to the best message forum around!

If you look at the plate on the drivers side door post, you should find the axle code. The ones that start with a letter are limited slip and the ones that start with a number are not.

See the post titled, "What Gears do I have?" in the V10 forum. 'Gary E K' has posted the entire list of codes there.
