George, congratulations on the progress!! The engine looks awesome. Glad to hear you check in. I have felt the pull of the darkside as well. I finally admittted my original 223 was beyond rescuing and bought a complete donor car for the 351W, trans and rear. Come back soon and keep me from ending up with an IFS
It's about time you show up! This is getting cliche, but it wasn't the same without you around.
I don't get much net time anymore, either, since we moved out here to Kansas (from Columbus, O) in August. Going to school and working at Wally World don't leave much money to get luxury items like....THE INTERNET! But we're getting by.
I am changing my truck back to a Y-block and 4 speed, with a trans like yours (T98). Do you have a list of the stuff you bought to rebuild yours and where you got the seals, bushings, bearings, etc? I haven't broken any of my gears tho'
Thanks George,
With 4speeds help I was leaning towards yellow for the 312 I just started rebiulding for Brutus, After seeing Earls Engine, I think its carved in Stone now. Its nice to have the engine paint Color Question answered. I was glad to hear you say Duplicolor, I have had good luck with it in the past. Great Looking Engine!!! Can't wait to see it in Earl.
Great to see you back here. I hope all is going ok with you and "The Earl" Has not been the same with you not being here to keep us in line! 'fenders has tried but then nobody was left to watch him.
Hey looks like Earl is making great progress towards the drive to the nationals. Keep up the good work!
Good to hear from you again, George! Nice work on the engine. I'm jealous! I'm still gathering parts for my rebuild. The suspension should be back under the frame by spring. The engine might be rebuilt by then, too. Keep up the good work!
