Cool 1 more speaker question

Happy new year. I just bought my first pickup. 2000 F150 reg cab 4x4. I'm happy with everything except the gas milage and the sound system. I like a thumpin bass, but I don't want it to be heard outside the truck and I'm not really wild on putting a sub and an amp and all that stuff in. So, I've bought 4 new pioneer 3-ways and now I'm wondering if I should install all 4 or should I just install the pioneers in the door and put something else in the back?? I'm tryin to keep it simple and economical. Any suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Possumcat

The Pioneers should give you what you want. I would put all four in and see. If you still want more bass, I can recommend a Kenwood "wOOx" sub. I have one under my passenger seat, and it really fills out the sound.

Incidentally, to be sure you get all the bass you can, keep the + and - terminals straight during your install.

Thanks for the advice. I'm going to go for it this weekend. Do I need an amp to power that Kenwood sub???
Thanks again, Poss
