i dont know if anyone would know what would be wrong but i'll ask anyway..........my amp was working fine a then i took my speakers out to finish the capeting on them........when i went to put it back in and hooked everything back up the amp turns on BUT no sound comes out......soooooo i got another one of my amps an hooked it up....and it works.............but no fuses on my amp are burn an nothing seems to have broken.........anyone hae any idea of what the hell is wrong??????????
Any possibility the amp was turned on at some time while the speakers were out? If that happened and the speaker wires touch each other or ground out, you could fry the output section of the amp. Also, this would not cause the fuse to blow. I hope this dident happen to you!
but would it burn up both channels??>>>i dont think it was on.........the truck would have to be on for the amp to be on.......hmmmmmmmmm i hope thats not what happen............that was an expensize amp!>>>>>>>.
It would bun up both channels if both got shorted out, otherwise just the channel that shorted. Good Luck with it! I Hope there is something simple other than a shorted out amp!
