Roll Call...
Just curious as to who reads the FTE Pig Pen and to what frequently and for what reasons? Some of the threads I see posted seem to be for basic conversation, some seem to be for platforms to get something off your chest. But basically, as Ford Truck owners, why is the Pen a magnet for periodic review by you???

I use the pig pen more now than i will in the future.I'm new here so i thought i might get to know some fellow truck enthus.when i wasn't posting questions in the other forums.the pig pen can be a hostile forum at times, but there is a lot of every day topics that are interesting and actually funny at times.we all seem to get into a disagreement here from time to time,but basically we are on the same page.there are a lot of good folk here at FTE.

The thought that a lurker or two will better understand that government, regardless of political affiliation, long ago reached a point where concern for the American Public has been lost in the scramble for satisfaction of personal agendas, primarily money and power. And exercise their votes accordingly, especially at the local levels, which is the base of all political power. A good municipal election voter turnout is now about 25% of registered votors. Pretty pathetic, but as the economy continues to change I think people will begin to take a closer look at their representation.

I visit the "Pig Pen" almost every time I log onto FTE. I enjoy reading as well as posting on the topics covered in this forum. I would describe it as intellectually stimulating, entertaining, and maybe sometimes controversial, but almost always enjoyable!!

What georgedavial said!! I check in (sometimes quickly) almost every day. Don't have time to catch everything that goes on, but I enjoy political debate with civilized people who don't always agree with me.

I too frequent the Pig Pen - almost daily! Why? Because I enjoy the intellectually stimulating topics; I feel I am learning not only about others who post but also about topics that will make me a more informed citizen; I like to be challenged to research topics and learn more as a result of the ideas bantered about; and I enjoy a good debate.
I pick and choose topics of interest or that hit a cord and don't post all that much unless I have strong feelings about the issue.

You know, I had the same question when I first viewed the Pen. Avoided it for quite some time but.....To answer your question, I don't know. I think it is only temporary though.
