I had a RS102E and had nothing but trouble with it. Then they replaced it with an 1102E and none of the connections are the same. I have to re-wire the whole thing.

Oh the one we had would turn the engine over in n and park even with the engine running or key off. It did last 3 years though so I'm just trying to get another one to throw in there.

About 30% of the time, mine would shut off after starting. Kinda like the tach mode was on and it wasn't getting any tach input. The trunk solenoid would stick also (not good when I had it hooked to the horn). I sent it back about three times and it never was fixed.

I installed the 1100E today (where the 102E was). Not too bad of an install. Got the door locks working and the trunk button to blow the horn. It really is cool to be able to blow the air horn from 800' away.

I had a product by AAMP put in by a pro in 97. No problems so far. My mother had a CODE remote put in her car, and many probs. She will go with the AAMP next one. Some are better than others. Mine has greater range also.

I used to use the Bull Dog units, this one goes a lot further and is a lot more dependable.

I think Yeti used to have a box of old Bulldog parts to keep one of his going. Maybe he has what you are looking for... Yeti?

Oh, great! No problems with the RS100E for about 27 hours! The truck just started by itself in front of the house. I couldn't shut it off... I tried the brake pedal and putting the key in and turining the ignition on and then off. Nothing worked until I unplugged the remote starter harness. Nice! I am glad it wasn't sitting in the garage in the middle of the night.
