chrome alternator
hey guys, I'm looking for an alternator for my new engine. I want chrome and high amperage. I am having trouble finding this. I don't want to convert over to a GM one wire, and I don't think that a 65 amp alternator can handle electric fans, a stereo system, and the eventual addition of underbody lighting. do you guys know of anywhere that I can get the alternator I want?

i just looked through my jc whitney catalog and a 140 amp chrome altinator is $149.95, i think that will have plenty amprage to run all your accessories.

I also used the Chrome 100 amp 1 wire from Jegs. My notes show it was $179. at time. Working great after 6000 miles.

how hard would it be to convert to a GM style alternator. I mean as far as brackets and such.
