Randy's Ring and Pinion

I would first just like to say that I am in no way affiliated with Randy's Ring and Pinion. I purchased a Detroit Soft Locker for my 99-F350 from them and had planned on purchasing the shims from my local Ford dealer. The dealer told me that shims for the 10.5" had to be ordered as needed. That meant that I would somehow have to try to set the differential up and then order the shims that I needed to finish the job. Needless to say, I went back to Randy's for shims. I needed that shims really quick and placed the order at 1:00pm on 12/30/03 and had the kit by 11:00am the next day(New Years Eve). They have a really unique shim kit that incorporates an inner and outer shell for each bearing side that semi-lock together and then an assortment of thinner adjustment shims are placed in between. The thinner shims are in a variety of thicknesses that allow you to make any particular size build you may need. I offer this infromation to any that are looking to do any differential work. These guys are top notch and their service is great.

Good to hear that they got the shims to you so quickly.

I've been impressed with their service as well when I have called......and if I leave a message, my salesman always calls me back rather quickly.
