Help

I`m new to this I`m trying to find parts for a 55 f250 the fenders & running boards, bed have some dents & rust I thought if i could find some New stock metal parts I could replace them. I have seen for f100 but i am told they are different. Could you point me in the right dirrection thanks.... Rob

The bigger trucks have been largely ignored by the aftermarket, so finding parts won't be easy. I'm converting my F-3 to an F-1 for just that reason. Some parts from the F-100s will fit your F-250, but for the most part you will have to scrounge the swap meets and classifieds for used parts. Will it be an original truck or modified? Good luck either way...

I`m trying to stay original but since it no longer has the original engine it is still a 6c though, I will make some modifications.

Check the e-bay auctions every day for the items you need. I'm sure they will pop up some day.

Rob, I am looking at my National Parts Depot (NPD) catalog. They sell replacement fenders, front & back (flareside) for your model truck. The fenders are listed as interchangable for F-100 thru F350. Running boards for flareside are also listed as interchangeable for F-100 - F-350.

Must be a misprint. Fenders might interchange even though the wheel well opening is larger on the F-250 and larger trucks, but there's no way the running boards are the same because the wheelbases and beds are longer on the bigger trucks...

I called (NPD) & spoke to "Logan" he was not sure & said call back tomorrow. but everyone else i have spoken to said they do not fit. I`ll see what they say tomorrow. everyone thanks for the info & help......Rob
