Surrendering your license to the state is the law here in MT too.

I can't quite figure out how you can be paying so much in insurance every month though. I am 19 and pay $75 a month, and I live in a highly populated area. hmmm

I am 21, have a clean record, or so they think, and never made a claim my ins is NOW 225 a month, it was 250, befor that it was 290 a month which iwas more than my truck payment

Wow that's steep. I called progressive and set everything up over the phone, it was very easy. I pay $460 every six months, and I have a very poor record.
