Looks like I'm going to have to replace the radiator in my 89. Question, I believe that I have the 1 row radiator now. If I replace it with the heavy duty radiator with 2 rows will I have a problem mounting it? Just trying to save myself from a future headache before I tackle this repair job.
I've got an 84 and I'm seeing a 1 row also. What I've been told is 2 row will go in but I was hoping to find a 3 or 4 row but so far I've only found 2 rows. Does anyone have suggestions on a new radiator? I just want to get a new one since I've had bad luck with used parts lately.
I'm wanting to rebuild my 302 this summer and want to have a good cooling system ready for it.
I am running a 3-core radiator in my 1984 Bronco. It is a 3 -core for a 351W for that truck.. except.. well.. I have a 460 in it! The radiator cools it fine (180 degrees solid on my Autometer gauge)and I got it from Autozone and it was $165 with limited lifetime warranty.. I have had it for 4 years now and 40K miles and it is fine!

Spend the money and get a good, new one dont trust a used radiator, there are some things you just dont buy used.there are many aftermarket radiators out there, I recommend a Be Cool,I had one in my race car and it was great.
