Has anyone here had their factory warrenty voided by Ford due to modifications?
I have only three on my truck, borla cat back, high volume MAF, and K&N FIPK and was just hoping to get some opinions based on experience as to whether or not my dealer will void my warranty
Thanks!

My dealer wasnt going to touch my truack becasue i have a AFE intake and a Flowmaster muffler on it. By law , the dealership has to prove that what ever problem is going on with the truck was difectly caused by the aftermarket product, to deny you warranty work. My advice , take off everything you can before taking your truck tothe dealer....and this comes from past experience................
I'll second that! I had the same problem in the past and while the dealer does have to prove that aftermarket mods caused damage, it just makes it much easier to do it their way in order to get yoyr rig fixed and back in your own garage!;-)
If your dealer gives you a problem over mods that are unrelated to a problem I'd tell him you're going to another dealer and won't be bringing any business his way in the future, simple as that.
I've had warranty work done at 5 Star Ford and Berge Ford. 5 Star Ford did my engine replacement(piston slap) At the time I was using a K&N and Borla cat-back. (I took the K&N out before taking it in) Under my aftermarket warranty I've needed 2 altenators, and a radiator. No problems there either. I think the only thing that may cause you troubles would be the MAF. Any engine problems and the dealer might point to it and not want to work on the truck.
