Upper Peninsula checking in.

Hi All,

I live in the U.P. and have owned Fords my whole life, Dad and grandpa worked there which might have something to do with it. I'm always looking to find new friends who are also Ford freaks. So if you live in the U.P. drop me a line and lets chat. I live in the Marquette area.

Is there an "Official" FTE club in Michigan?

Hey Bubba,

Sorry to hear about your tranny, but glad to hear that you have a camp up here. I only live about 2 miles from Mangum road.

Speaking about tranny's, mine just dicided to start acting up. I have a '91 F-150 with a E4OD and I just lost 1st and 4th gears. I put a post in the transmission section about it and I wish like hell someone would give me a clue as to what the problem is.

Anyway the next time you get the chance to get up this way we should get together for a cup of coffee and I'll show you my latest project, it's a 1977 Cutlass Supreme Limited Edition completely stock right down to the stock beauty rings on the ralley wheels w/ the original center caps but it is time to go through the drive train (engine and trans, at least I can work on these). I envy you with that 65 442 it must be awesome. My dad had a 68 442 that was custom ordered but traded it in when I was in Viet-Nam.

Anyway we could have some fun talking about the REAL muscle cars.

Talk to you later.

John K.

Hey John, wish I could give you a clue on the trans but auto's just aren't my thing. Your 77 sounds nice, we'll have to figure out how to get each others Email address and we can go back and forth. Talk to ya!

Hey Bubba,

Go to the classifieds and look under the transmission and engine catagory. I put an ad in there titled "Wanted 1991 E4OD..." and my email address is in the middle of the ad. Hope to hear from you soon.

Ya hey from Kawbawgam Road eh? Just sold my '99 Super-Du last month cuz I had a killer offer and didn't need a plow truck any more. Found a '92 F150 XLT supercab 5.0L with 102K miles that is way sweet with custom dual exhaust and an Alpine CD changer.

I can't get the the transfer case into neutral or low range but will look at that after the snow is gone. For now I can't believe I can get 14mpg in 4wd! Also amazing is how well this truck runs thru the snow in 2wd with no load.

so hey check my site out at www.yoopernet.com sometime ...
