Live tuning?

Ive tried searching and haven't found any solid info on the subject. I know gear head and PHP do live tuning, but they're a little far from CA for me to drive. Are there any other tuners either on the west coast or central U.S. that offer live tuning?

Last time I spoke to Wes at DFI Performance he mentioned live tuning through No Limit. He may be doing his own tuning now, that was about a year ago. He's located in the Portland area.

If that ends up working for you I'll mob up with you. My brother has a place up there.

Just messaged them via their website. It says they offer custom tuning and that they have a chassis dyno so its a possibility.

Depends on your set-up. Stock injectors, then no. Anything else, yes.

IMO if you want the best possible running truck, live tuning is the way to go. Otherwise tuners are just guessing as to what will make your truck run great.

Also my opinion, you don't want someone who's only been tuning diesels for a year to tune your truck. There are really only 6 or so guys in the country that know what they are doing with the 7.3, and "the guy down the street that tunes race cars on the weekends" isn't one of them.

I've been trying to get live tuning now for ten years without driving across the country for it.

My main reason for wanting live tuning, besides the obvious of getting the most out of my setup, is based on the attention that "rolling coal" has gotten in the national media recently. The timing unfortunately coinciding with my build has made me want the most smoke free performance i can get, as I do not want to be associated with the people who are helping further restrain and potentially end the diesel performance market. I guess for the time being i'll go with a standard custom tuned chip. But i would like to eventually get live tunes. Thanks for the input everyone.
