Question

Trailer Tow Mirrors

Does anyone know if Ford will be offering "Trailer Tow Extension Mirrors" on the 2004 F150 4x4 Screw anytime soon? Of if there are any available after market? I have not been able to locate them for the 2004 model?

The 04 F 150 Accessory book shows a set of removeable ones on page 8 it is Item #20 Base Part No. 17696

Unfortunately those are for the old style mirrors, not for the new f150

Would be great if someone would make oem type extensions. I hate have to clip on stuff to a new vehicle.

Yes, why can't we get real tow mirrors, like the others (Chevy, Nissan, Dodge and even Ford F250) offer? Please post if you all find anything out.

sorry didn't realize they were for the old style, just seen them in the 04 book. Must be a printing error.

No need to apologize. A lot of people forget that the 2004 Heritage is the old design, and that what was on the 2003 works just fine on them.
