I just installed a corrosion control system on my F350, and have one for my E250. It's called Counter Act, and it works off the battery and feeds an electrostatic charge through the vehicle preventing the rust we dread. Anybody else tried this, I hope it works, its got to better than having that undercoating get all over you when your trying to putz with your toy.
I did a fair amount of research on it and have found nothing on them being run down by the goverment. In fact this morning I read they expect to be FAA approved soon, I guess we will see.
Visit their web site there is a lot of articles from some rather well known companies./www.counteractrust.com
My uncle is a mechanic in Hawaii - they have tons of corrosion problems due to the saltwater. Most new vehicles have an electrostatic system. I guess it doesn't completely prevents corrosion, but does inhibit it quite a bit. Aftermarket systems are also very available there and he highly recommends them.
