have any of you noticed the bottom inside of your doors rusting?
i tried to have this fixed at my dealer but ford tells me that if its not rusted with a hole they wont fix it.

Yea I know, I have the same thing, bottom of all 4 doors, alsoo on a 99. Just More Quality Ford Work In My opinion. Im Fixing mine on My own because After My experience, Ford Aint gonna touch my Vehicle again. Seems We can Fix Fords Products better than Ford Can. My Stepfather Is the service Manager at the ford dealership in WV, has been there over 30 years, service manager for 14. General Conversation we were talking about Problems I had with My Expy, he estimates Ford warranty work has went up over 20% at his dealership in the last 2 years, and there are alot more people coming in with quality issues, not always something broken, but Build Issues. I dunno.
I too am a victim of the rust monster on all 4 doors. I used bedliner spray it lasted for quite a long time but iit has now begun to show the rust.
Anyone have any ideas? Suggestions?
Just when you make it idiot proof........................Someone goes and builds a better idiot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
After Sanding Im using a rust desolver/conditioner that chemically reacts with rust forming a seal, then Priming and painting, had very Good results with a similar product On a Jeep I had.
