Rough Idle
We own a 1999 SOHC 4 door 2 wheel drive explorer. I have 71,000 on it and the idle has just gotten a little bit rough. I changed the plugs 5K ago, but the wires are original. At this mileage what are some things I should look at and fix. This is my wife’s vehicle and I want it to run right.
Also I hear a knock is the best way to describe it when I turn sometimes. We have had this car a few years and it has been great and I love it, but because I had my z and other toys never paid much attention to it except for keeping it looking nice and running.
