Installing CD Player....
I just bought a 2002 Ford Explorer XLT. It comes with the 6-disc in dash cd changer. For some reason it aint working so I am going to go ahead and install the Pioneer Premier 940 head unit from the car I traded in. Now how do you get the dash area around the cd player off??? Thats the only question I have. Thanks! Later...

If its like the 98 model, you have two small bolts to undo under the middle part of the housing, you can feel them if you run your finger under the middle section, then the housing will unclip with a little gentle persuasion.
next take the ice unit out with the u shape brackets available from car shops or use 4 matchsticks to insert into the hole around ice unit and gently pull off.
