USA vs China

How long until the two biggest boys on the schoolyard duke it out? I see it starting through N. Korea. Isn't it inevitable?

No, because it is not in the best interests of either, coupled with assured mutual destrction.

Not to mention the millions of troops China has. Our only saving grace is that they would have to cross the Pacific to invade us, and you can be rest assured that there would be many a chinaman at the bottom of the sea. Not to mention dono's point that we would destroy each other. Although Chia would be much worse off, they can only hit Kalifornia, no big loss there, whereas we can hit any part, or all of China N, Korea, France, ect....

Before FTE I never realized how fashionable it was in some parts to disparage California.

This country would be poorer without the contributions of any one of the
50 states. California's contributions are and have been greater than you
care to recognize. Hey BWDIK I was just born here like my father and my son. We don't need you around anyhow.

Wow, a personal attack! I refer to Kalifornia like that because it has been the test bed of the socialist left wing for decades, I am not disparaging it's citizens, nor was I referring to you. If it makes you feel better, I don't like PRNJ, NY, Illannoy, or Ohio either. Mainly because these states have chosen to make legal gun ownership a privelige for the cultural elite rather than the Right as garanteed byt the 2nd Amendment. So no offense to you, or to anyone from those other states I mentioned, my disapproval stems from political prefernces, not personal predjudice....and yes, you do need me around, I am yet another shining example of the sheer brilliance required to recognize that the Red Bowtie is a POS.

A bit about Taiwan and China, World Fact Book
In 1895, military defeat forced China to cede Taiwan to Japan. It reverted to Chinese control after World War II. Following the Communist victory on the mainland in 1949, 2 million Nationalists fled to Taiwan and established a government using the 1947 constitution drawn up for all of China. Over the next five decades, the ruling authorities gradually democratized and incorporated the native population within the governing structure. In 2000, Taiwan underwent its first peaceful transfer of power from the Nationalist to the Democratic Progressive Party. Throughout this period, the island prospered and became one of East Asia's economic "Tigers." The dominant political issues continue to be the relationship between Taiwan and China - specifically the question of eventual unification - as well as domestic political and economic reform.

I feel like that about California also, I could never live there, I used to always want to go there but after I grew up it just looks like mainly a hole, Adam Carola and Dr Drew on loveline live there and constantly complain about the state of things there and how much of a joke it all is, quite humorous to listen to, alot of the callers are rediculously stupid which also adds to the comedy

Love the show thanks LA

yes, my friend, they do disparage us.most of the country thinks of us as a bunch of "fruits and nuts".our economy is in the toilet, and we're still what, fifth largest economy in the world?
the west is the best, and if you don't believe it, thats your loss.

i was thinking back to when the news came out that the Clinton admin. sold some kind of satellite or missile teck to china, i think gore had something to do with it. china respects us 0%. they believe they are Superior to us militarily and culturally. remember when they harassed our spy plane and made it crash land? then wouldn't let us have it, our our people back? mutual assured destruction won't work as a deterant if one side believes they can win. what will we do if they do invade Taiwan? sit back and watch? i also wonder if they are secretly supporting al- quida (i have no idea how to spell that) and other terrorist organizations.

At one time I was a resident of CA and traveling on an extensive basis. It never failed, I'd be introduced to someone, we'd shake hands, they'd step back and say 'So you're from California'. Definately down on the food chain look at the same time.

I believe our current administration is frowning on Taiwan's notions of independence and has stated such.

I'd say that you are correct in your assertion that it's the 5th largest economy in the world and that those who state that California is the US' Socialism experiment are also correct. Where else can an illegal immigrant be given a driver's license? Where else is an election ballot printed in 100+ languages?
Where else do clowns like Boxer and Feingold breed?
