I just installed a Diablo Predator chip, now I’m looking at an exhaust system. Has anyone installed the Diamond Eye system from MotorHaven? Is this a good system or do you recommend something different? I’m also looking at a 3-gauge pillar setup. Any suggestions on this install?
I installed the aluminized Diamond Eye 4" exhaust on my "02" PSD with slight modifications to the components. I had to heat and bend a few hanger rods to fit in the rubber isolators just right. Other than that, takes about 3-4 hours by yourself, maybe less if you have access to a lift and another pair of hands.
Good fit and quality, sounds great, EGT's reduced and some power gain. Great investment in my opinion. You may want to consider a stainless system if you are in an area with road salts, snow, ice, rain, etc.
I have read on some threads that some 3 1/2" and 4" systems are a tight fit against the firewall on 99's.
Search some gauge and exhaust threads on this site and you will get some good information on vendors, installations, etc.
Pre 96's and some 97's were a tight fit. Heard one piece d/ps had to have firewalls beat on. I got Western D's two piece. Did job in hour and a half. Toughest part was getting the flat one out.

2 piece sounds like the way to go for most guys who want easy installation...I don't know how well the hold up as compared to a 1 piece model though...Mine is a Diamond Eye...it went it without any firewall "modifications" although you do have to wiggle it around and use some choice words, but it only take about an hour or so...
