I would like to ask you a few questions about your bucket seats. Tried to email through the board but won't let me till I post 30 times or something to that effect.
Thanks
By the way Great looking truck
Good idea! I thought about that after I posted.
I found the website were you bought them. Was wondering what style you chose, the ease of installation and most important, are they more comfortable than an original bench seat. I noticed in your gallery that you have the behind the seat gas tank so must not be a problem there. I thought about removing mine if it gave me clearance for a more comfortable fit, but that would mean I would have to stop for gas every day instead of every other day. If you know what I mean.
Thanks
Hey goose-it. I'll help you all I can on the seats. I removed this seats from a 1990 Ford Escort 4dr and had them covered black. I altered my original bench seat outer brackets and made the inner brackets to fit. I went with buckets from a 4dr because they don't lay down as 2dr seats would for the rear passengers. It was a simple fit and very comfortable with plenty of leg room and the entire seat project cost me $150.
Hey great idea,
I'll start checking the junkyards here for one. The bench seat is in need of upholstery and was looking for an alterative before I dumped money into it.
