Straight Front Axle
I would like to put a straight front axle under my 85 F-150, it's got the i-beam and i would like it gone. how do i go about converting it. Thanx for the help everyone!

Try this link. It's on a Newer truck but they all use the same frontends and such.

If you really want alot of info on the swap there is a bunch of threads discussing that very swap at ford-trucks.com
go to the solid axle swap category and read threw there. Even though yours is a truck it all still applies the same. Make sure you read all the threads on sas then ask questions it sometimes makes some of the guys angry if you don't look before you ask. After reading all the threads. And you still have questions just ask away they are a great bunch of guys, they will help with any extra questions you may have. have fun reading and good luck on the swap.
