smoking at start up

smoking at start up

95 powerstroke with 130,000 smokes alot (white smoke) for about 1 to 2 min after start up depending on how cold it is outside. But if I plug it in, it smokes almost none at all. What is my problem?

also what is the best tuner to get for it?

Nothing to worry about, common when winter knocks at our door. It is unburnt fuel. Sorry no info on a tuner, I run a Bank's chip.

Sounds like you have one or more bad glow plugs.
