starter problems
well since i have had this truck going on four years i have replaced the starter 7 times and tongiht it went out again. i replaced the origonal starter also at a little over 100000 miles. and im at 125000 right now. does anyone have any idea what could be causing this? i suspect a short but i havent been able to find anything loose or somthing grounding wrong. help please... thank you

What is going out on the starter brushs, plus are you puting on new or aoto store rebuild . I went through through 3 from orielys in 6 months becuse of something went to the zone ran on it till i sold the truck.

upon further inspection, a bolt that holds on nothing fell off. so i figured what the hay i'll put one back on. was a ground apparently and it starts normal again. but that still doesnt explain the last 7 times. hmmmm oh well...... life time warrenty

Tell us the name of the store you bought the 7 starters from. We can avoid that place too. You have the "bozo" brand starter.l Go to a local electrical pro, and ask them to build you a heavy duty starter, you will never be happier.

I buy all my electrical parts from Napa, it will cost you a pretty penny but so far I haven't had to replace anything twice that I bought from there.
