my psd has been running poor for a while now. it would die every now and then while just idling. i've changed the fuel filter on it a month ago and the cps about a year ago. now today it died on me and when i tried to restart it, the wait to start light wouldn't come on and the motor would just turn over but not start. if anyones got any ideas i would really appreciate it.
Ya but the reason its blown is the concern here. If it blows again Unhook the Fuel heater at the side of the Fuel filter bowl and see if it still blows the fuse
ok, its been a week since that fuse blew the first time. it blew on me again today. do you think it might be that the fuel heater is dieing or a short, since it took so long for it to blow again? plus i was wondering on which side it is on while looking at the fuel bowl? thanks

Just wondering if the cam position sensor would be causing the problem OR the wiring that connects the ecm to the injectors under the valve covers. Had one friend who had the problem and he ended up changing the valve cover gasket (which also held the wiring ). This is only my 2 cents and may or may not help.
I have read about this problem before and it was the fuel heater being broken( not completeing the circut). I read the fix is to remove it and either replace or fix it. Hope that helps...
ok i changed the fuel line heater and about two minutes after starting it, it died again, the #22 fuse blew again. I was wondering if anyone has had problems with their glow plug relay shorting out? i dont think its the wiring because it looks fine and its all still wrapped with plastic. i doubt its the CPS because thats not even in the same circuit. the owners manual says that 22 also runs the powertrain control system relay coil, any thoughts sure would help, thanks.
