ahh, shadetree mechanic, i liked that show. Yea im getting sick of trucks and hotrod tv. Its always the same thing, "hey lets fix up this chevy with expensive parts and make it look like it only takes a few hours." Its true that its mostly just advertizing. I seen a commercial for a show called rides theyre gonna have on, looks interesting. They need to have tough trucks on more though on that channel.

That Stacey (host) seems to actully probably know something- he also knows how to play a guitar for sure. Reruns way too much though.
Horsepower TV is starting to grate on my nerves cause of the hosts "witty banter"- just don't care for it. Simulated Ford and Chevy rivalry.
But the shows all seem to be one big ad. Always a plug for $400 stainless bolt sets or something.
Didn't TNN used to mean "The Nashville Network" then it became "The National Network" after they figured out that old Star Trek reruns made good ratings.
BTW- It's all owned by MTV (Viacom) so their pockets are deep.

They are only going to run…. re-runs right now, it is not cost effective to have any other shows. Cost effective from a sponsor’s point of view, believe it or not their viewing drops big time during this time of the year. They can buy Bond very cheap and let it run. Then when everyone comes back from the vacation, they will start up again. It will be a couple of weeks before anything really changes.

It was owned by CBS. Whether or not they sold it? Who knows?
