congrats !!!!! happy belated b-day!!!!
I need one of those to get in and out of the eXcursion!
There is a dude who just got a brand new 2003 SD for a graduation present, he posted on Fordtruckw@r1d, i want to say i appreciate the honesty from that kid, $10 bucks says he'll be posting a reply to this topic saying he bought himself and pays his own insurance etc, etc, just wait he'll post it....
ps. here in San Antonio TX, if you were 17-18 and walked into a dealer and said
"yeah dude i work im going to make all the payments myself, my parents really dont help me out, im the man"
they would giggle and DEFINATLY decline your request for a loan, or maybe you guys just make cash payments?
As for the dealership laughing......My dad is on his fourth ford truck.....my mom has had 2 broncos, an explorer, 3 expeditons, an excursion, and now she has a Jag X-type (which is a ford product), My brother has a 99 350, and a 2000 Focus.....I am only 20 18 when i went in there.....but I think i am smart enough to kno that the dealership wouldn't laugh at me.....and seein as I paid 500 bucks over what they paid for it I think I is a little smart.......and for the fact of credit.....I believe all dealerships have co-signs.....So just cause my Pop's name is on the payment....doesn't mean it's not my check goin into Ford credit.....and insurance is in my name, registration and not to mention the 50 bucks a week for gas.....I am not tryin to be a kid with attitude but figured of all people....Fellow SD drivers wouldn't hate....but hey....it's all good.....I kno it's my money

how is that lift coming.... when will you have your truck back??
A P E N D X .... Put The Bong Down. Thats 'The Hawaiian Monsta' that drives the bus. I hear since the accident he has replaced the entire front of the bus with superduty parts donated by the XSDCDA... That's the ' eXcursion SuperDuty Cross Dresser's Association!
As for Mine... It's no longer waiting for the lift... but while it was setting there I decided I may have some clearance issues so I exchanged the 3" hanger for the 4.5" hanger kit. (Brand Name Omitted So I'm Not Accused Of Spamming I also popped for the ORU crossover steering. The crossover steering arrived yesterday still looking for the 4.5 hangers.
Turned out I needed the short body Bilstein 7100's so I have a pair of NEW 12" travel, standard body reservoir Bilstein 7100's that I purchased from ROLLNXL. If anyone is interested drop me an email.
I am only 22, going on 7. I actually am more mature than most my age when it comes to finances and work ethic, but I know I'll never grow up when it comes to the fun parts of my life. If I was completely mature, I would have never lifted an X 14 inches.
