OD button modification?
Is it possible to reverse the OD button? So that OD would always be OFF when started?
I have a 99 F350 psd with a 6" lift and 37" tires and was told by Ford to always drive with the OD off unless I was out on the open freeway. Does that carry any validity?

I'd leave it in overdrive unless it is frequently shifting in and out of overdrive.
I have seen a kit that switched the function of the overdrive button. I don't remember what it's called or who made it, but it's out there somewhere.

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 28-Oct-02 AT 11:29 PM (EST)]Ken sells those little devices in Motorhaven, they're called Duratrans, I forgot who makes 'em...you can adjust them to turn the overdrive on at 50-70mph and turn it off when you go below 15-35 mph. I'll see if I can find the link where I tested it in my dad's truck.

Thanks for finding that for me, the only problem is that when I tried to bring it up at the online store for this site, it is no longer there.
Anyone know if there is another place to get this and how much it costs?
