Master Cylinder Question

Hey folks - got a F-350 Dually with the 7.3L diesel.

In replacing the brake master cylinder, the plastic reservoir does not want to come out of the MC.

Is it mechanically fixed in there? I don't want to pull too hard in case it snaps off.

Usually if you keep prying (nicely) it will come off, at least that's the way I remember it.

Once you told me it wasn't fixed I pried nicely and it did eventually part ways with the MC.
