bg products have a product called diesel care that is run through a machine which is similar to gas fuel injection, if you look on there web page under service dealers and find one with a letter d in the center of the fueling pump they probaly have the machine used for that product, they also make 44k a fuel additive you use evey 7000 miles for occasional cleanup as well as 248, no im not a dealer but there products are the best on the market from personal expereince
I'd try Diesel Kleen in the gray bottle, about $4 at Walmart. It sure makes a lot of difference in my truck, idle is much smoother and I get a touch better fuel consumption numbers. I use one bottle half in each tank,each fillup. Another thing you might try is to drain a good bit of fuel out of the fuel filter housing,using the water drain lever and fill it up with Diesel kleen then crank the truck. Your more or less running on pure Diesel Kleen, and while your at it you might as well change the filter.
