71 ranchero?
It seems that the 71 ranchero is a year ranchero fans liked. I found one that has a 351C, 2V, 2 Barrell carb, with a body that is maybe 10% rust. The car looks good the way it sits. No gas tank. I think it sat so long that the tank rusted through. It will start right up. Was a one owner but the guy passed away. Buddy bought it for $600.00. He wants it out of his yard. I'm giving him $200.00 for it. He said the car will scream and the engine is tight. 48,000 miles on it. The interior is trashed along with the black roof. How much would this thing be worth if I done a restore on it. It wouldn't take long! Thanks ranchero guys.

I told him I couldn't bare raping the engine from the body. He suggested we take the car to my garage and do some body work, new gas tank, interior work, and shoot a new coat of paint on it. The people I've talked to that have seen this car in action stated it will scream! We should be able to make a dollar or two when its done.

I have seen many 71's on ebay........as long as it runs, i have seen them from $1500 to $11000! Just depends on the restoration. if she runs as good as you say, with a new interior/paint/wheels.......forget about "making a few bucks"....you won't WANT to get rid of her!!!!!!!!
