I am looking for a sending unit for the rear tank of a 1983 F-250 diesel.

Hi,

try to get a used on from a local junkyard or...if you want a new one...just call jcWhitney.com. I think I have seen a sending unit in they catalog.....

A lot of radiator shops also do gas tanks. Most can get new ones as well as related parts.

We have tried Ford, Napa, CarQuest and O'Riellys.

I will call some radiator shops Monday.

Ford can't get you one? They got me one for my 89 7.3 last year. It was $90 though. :/
