GLK

I picked up a 1/2 in. drive metric socket set (sockets only) at Walmart for $10.00 and the largest size was 36mm. Not Snap On quality but great for this application!

Oil Filter
Oooops, I should have mentioned also that I was just at Auto Zone online and they list an STP oil filter part#S9549 for $10.00 for the 6.0L. The O ring must be on its' way but not there yet- has manufacturer but says not yet available

All,

I was lucky enought o get my hands on the International service procedure and systems description manual. According to the manual the torque specs are as follows:

Oil Filter Cap 18 lbf/ft (24N.m)
Oil pan drain plug 18 lbf/ft (25N.m)

Not sure why the difference on the metric torque spec. But hope this helps.
