Greatly reduced body-roll in corners, and when entering/exiting parking lots (driving through dips). Do a search on this site for multiple strings on this subject.

The items you originally listed could possibly void portions of your warranty since they will affect emissions.

Hello LANDYOT
Is your Hellwig rear sway bar larger in diameter than the stock '04's bar? I don't know what diameter the stocker is, but will measure it tomorrow. (I know, I should have measured the stock '04's diameter before I wrote this post, but it's dark and cold outside, even in California, and I just got back from 'Vegas and I have Christmas gifts to wrap and blah-blah-blah- ho-ho-ho!)
Also, for everybody with 6.0 PSD's who is waiting for a K&N, I stopped by at K&N in Riverside to check on air filters, last week. They should be ready by mid January.

There have been several posts here stating that the Hellwig bar is substantially larger in diameter than the OEM bar. Exact measurements escape me. Just suffice it to say that the OEM rear bar is kind of wimpy in comparison.

Thanks LANDYOT.
My only complaint with the Excursion is the tail wag, sounds like a larger sway bar is the place to start.

I agree with Tim. ANY engine work done to your truck, you'll WANT to get the gauges FIRST.

Just a thought.

I'd suggest the Autometer 3 stage A pillar set-up.

Good luck

Replace the front swaybar bushings. Energy Suspensions has a set.
Change the stock shocks. Bilsteins or Rancho 9000`s. I perfer the Bilsteins.
Get rid of the Firestones, If they are still putting them on( junk).
Gauges, the stock ones are only glorified idiot lights.
Get a set of LANDYOT`s bars. The rid the X of axle rap. Email him personally. Rules say he can not talk about them. He will explain.
Replace bulbs in your headlights and fogs to SilverStars. Fogs are the 9005`s.
When your wiper blades wear out, replace with 24"
SUV wiring harness.
Oh the list goes on and on.......

MERRY CHRISTMASS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR

How difficult was it to install the Hellwig anti-sway bar? Are there any modifcations to the frame or is it just bolt on?
