I have a 96 ranger 4.0L v6 4wd standard, the temp guage goes up and down constantly, likes to drop if I am idling at a light. There is a TSB out there but does anyone know how to get the TSB without subscribing to a site? The TSB is 97-18-9 and also mentions some sort of thumping which I don't seem to have. Any help would be great.
I have replaced the sender, and the temostat, and the rad has been flushed, how do you know if the fan clutch is good? Also I found the TSB on the aerostar forum,
